Accountio — Your AI munshi in your pocket. Voice notes, WhatsApp messages, and receipt photos become clean, audit-ready books. We built it for business owners, freelancers, and traders who run their business from their phone — not from a spreadsheet.
Your AI munshi in your pocket. Accounting as a conversation — if you can explain a sale in Urdu or Hinglish, Accountio can book it.
Founders
Accountio was founded by M. Shahzad Arif and co-founded by M. Ahmad. Both are based in Faisalabad, Pakistan — a city of small manufacturers, traders, and family businesses where bookkeeping still happens on paper, in memory, and in chat threads.
- M. Shahzad Arif — Founder & CEO. Product vision, go-to-market, and the push to make formal accounting feel as natural as sending a WhatsApp voice note.
- M. Ahmad — Co-founder & CTO. Engineering, AI pipeline, and the systems that turn messy real-world input into structured ledger entries.
Where we are
Accountio started in Faisalabad. Today our team works from the National Incubation Center (NIC) Faisalabad, located inside the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad campus — surrounded by the agriculture and trade ecosystem we serve every day.
From that office we ship product, talk to operators on the ground, and iterate with businesses that need books without the bookkeeping headache.

Incubated at National Incubation Center Faisalabad — Pakistan's leading Agri-Tech & Tex-Tech incubator on the University of Agriculture campus.
What we believe
- Your ledger should meet you where you already work — on WhatsApp.
- Voice, Urdu, Hinglish, and photos are valid inputs, not exceptions.
- Every entry should carry proof: the message, the audio, the receipt.
- Formal accounting should not require a formal accounting degree.
